Spanish Courses and Classes
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
SPANISH I
The text for this course is SPANISH NOW and CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH,
supplemented with teacher's own materials for additional practice. The textbook has 34 units with conversation and different practical situations. Emphasis on vocabulary building to develop conversational skills for travel and communication with native speakers - some verbs and some grammar. Teacher conducts special intensive exercises to encourage speaking ability and memory retention to help students understand Spanish speaking natives speaking at normal conversational speed.

SPANISH I (Cont) We will continue the SPANISH NOW with lesson #4
SPANISH II - We will continue SPANISH NOW - Lesson #9. We plan intensive practical dialogues to develop more practical vocabulary, achieve fluency and comprehension.
SPANISH III - Textbook: ESPANOL: A SENTIRLO (Le sson #5)- supplemented with workbook, tests. Learn ghe tenses with lots of practice in an easy manner. We will study the Imperfect tense and other tenses: preterite, present perfect, present progressive, etc. If you want to start learning the tenses, come to this class. Lots of conversation, share ideas, videos and continue with exercises to understand a Spanish speaking native at normal conversational speed. As time allows, course is enriched with DESTINOS videos where a wealthy Mexican patriarch reveals a long kept secret. Join and learn Spanish in a rich and diversified cultural context.
SPANISH III(Cont) - Lesson #8 - We will continue ESPANOL: SENTIRLO, described above Lots of lively and interesing conversations.
INTERMEDIATE CONVERSATION - We continue with lots of conversation, sharing news and experiencies in the most fun way. We will have articles and interesting T.V. programs, videos in order to develop better hearing comprehension and speaking ability. Mucha conveersacion.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED CONVERSATION - Continuaremos usando cuaderno de ejercicios. Desarrolle mas habilidad para conversar, dar sus opiniones e ideas con temas de actualidad muy interesantes. Esta clase desarrollara su vocabulario mas ampliamente. Continuaremos viendo programas interesantes y videos con noticias de interes. Participe activamente con sus ideas y opiniones. Mucha, mucha conversación.
WHERE DO I BELONG? Not sure what class you fit into? If you have some previous Spanish speaking experience and don't want to start with Spanish I, feel free to contact us and we will help place you. You may also transfer to another class if you don't feel you fit in the one you are registered for.
